Burger King Type-Driven Commercial

“Type-Driven TV Commercial” is a project where I reimagined and designed a 30-second television commercial that uses expressive kinetic typography as the primary visual element. The spotlight of the commercial was the type itself, moving, transforming, and expressing emotion in ways that enhance and embody the message.
Concept
For my commercial, I chose to animate to one of Burger King’s 1974 “Have it Your Way” commercials. I designed an energetic, upbeat design that reminisced about the 1970s era. To enhance the appeal of the franchise, I accompanied the type with photographic visuals that complemented the lyrics.
